The Annual Contribution amount is $350 per student.
You can place a check made out to “MK Band Boosters” in the Booster Mailbox located on the right-hand side of Mr. Schwartz’s office. Be sure to write the student’s name on the check.

The MKBB Annual Fair Share Contribution fee is the amount of money required to be paid by each student to participate in the Marching Band program each year.
The General Fund is the pool of money MKHS Band Boosters uses to pay for approved budget expenses which are above and beyond what the Morris Hill Regional District contributes to the band programs and follows all relevant Federal and State Laws and Regulations, to help offset the Band Fee cost for all students.
To calculate each individual’s Band Contribution, the band’s expenses for the season, as stated in the general membership approved budget (purchase of music, program design, props, costs of technicians gifts, food, uniform maintenance, trailer transportation, competition costs, service vehicles (gators), etc.), are added together then divided by the number of students in band.
Band Contributions are necessary for the band to function due to the limited amount received from the school district. Every year, the General Fund of the MKHS Band Boosters has subsidized the cost for each student. So the actual cost per student is much higher, but with the projected amount of money to be earned from parent and student participation and volunteerism in all scheduled fundraising activities, we can keep that cost as low as possible.
